Power shafts Power shafts - the general information From lateral gear wheels of differential the twisting moment developed by the engine is transferred to forward (leading) wheels by means of two power shafts of unequal length. Each shaft is equipped by the internal and external hinge of equal angular speeds (SHRUS). On models since 2000 of release power shafts with internal SHRUS триподного type are established. Pins of external hinges are supplied шлицами, providing a joint coupling with wheel naves. From lateral aspect of naves of a pin of hinges are fixed big ступичными by nuts. Internal hinges also by means of шлицов are entered into sliding connection with lateral gear wheels of differential and fixed by means of lock rings. The right power shaft is equipped демпфером крутильных the fluctuations, allowing substantially to lower level of vibrations at car movement. |
