Removal and installation Fuel pump

Do not suppose dirt hit in the pump and топливопроводы.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
  2. Remove a cogwheel of a drive of the pump (the Engine see the Head).
  3. Turn out nuts штуцерных connections and remove fuel tubes (Removal and installation of fuel atomizers see).
  1. Release a clamp (1) fastenings of a contact socket of the module of management Fuel pump to the engine, disunite a socket.
  1. Carefully clear and mark subject to a detachment топливопроводы. Remove sealing rings штуцерных the sockets, the open ends of tubes right after detachments закупорьте approaching заглушками.
  1. Turn out bolts of fastening of a back arm of fastening of the pump to an arm on the block of cylinders.
  1. Turn out forward fixing nuts and remove the pump from the engine.

Do not undertake attempts of dismantling Fuel pump! In case of occurrence of signs of infringement of serviceability of functioning of the pump, address for consultations to experts of car-care centre.

  1. Establish the pump on the regular place, screw forward and back fixing bolts and tighten them with demanded effort.
  2. Restore initial connection of electroconducting, track reliability of fixing of a socket a lock element, - wring out last to the left on the car.
  3. Attach to the pump of a line of giving and fuel return, tighten штуцерные connections with demanded effort.
  4. Make sure of absoluteness of cleanliness and dryness of elements штуцерных sockets and restore connection топливопроводов to injection atomizers, - track, that nuts штуцерных sockets have been tightened with demanded effort.
  5. Establish into place cogwheel Fuel pump and by hand tighten a bolt of its fastening, - there should be a possibility проворачивания wheels hands.
  1. Having put on рожковый a key a fixing nut develop a landing flange of the pump before combination of its label with риской on a cogwheel and lock drilling in the pump. Pass adaptation Vauxhall KM-6011 through a flange and enter it into drilling, having fixed thereby pump assemblage. Remember that start of the engine will demand slightly more time, than usually that is connected with necessity of automatic prorolling of a fuel path for the purpose of removal from it air stoppers.

Models 1.7 of l DOHC

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
  2. Remove a cogwheel of a drive of the pump (the Engine see the Head).
  3. Remove the inlet pipeline (Removal and installation of the inlet pipeline see).
  4. Remove the module of management Fuel pump (Removal and installation of electric components of the power supply system see).
  5. Disconnect electroconducting and two vacuum tubes, turn out two fixing bolts and remove the electromagnetic valve of management of pressure of pressurisation (Removal and installation of electric components of the power supply system see).
  1. Disconnect electroconducting from the gauge of atmospheric pressure, remove the gauge from a basic arm of fastening (Removal and installation of electric components of the power supply system see). Turn out two fixing bolts and remove an arm. Remove an arm of fastening of the module of management Fuel pump.
  1. Disconnect from the pump of a line of giving and fuel return.
  1. Pull together isolation Fuel pump, disunite on the pump contact sockets of information gauges, liberate plaits from intermediate clamps, - try to remember an order of a lining of wires.
  1. Turn out two fixing nuts and take Fuel pump from the case газораспределительного the mechanism. Remove laid between the pump and the block of cylinders spongy isolation.

At all do not undertake attempt of dismantling Fuel pump, in case of need address for the help to experts of car-care centre.

  1. Lay new spongy consolidation between the pump and the block of cylinders, achieve demanded gearing of a shaft of the pump with the mechanism газораспределения, then screw two new fixing nuts, - at the given stage tighten nuts only by hand.
  1. Establish basic arm Fuel pump on the block of cylinders, screw fixing bolts and tighten them with demanded effort. While only by hand tighten bolts of fastening of an arm to the pump. Lay spongy isolation round the pump. Before installation of a back part connect electroconducting to the block of memory of the pump (PROM) on an assemblage lateral face.
  1. Establish into place a cogwheel of a drive of the pump (the Engine see the Head).
  2. Establish a belt of drive ГРМ (the Engine see the Head).
  3. Execute procedures on installation of the moments of injection (Check and adjustment of installations of the moments of injection of fuel see).
  4. The further installation is made in an order, the return to an order of dismantle of components. Pay attention to following moments:
    1. Track, that all fixture has been tightened with demanded effort.
    1. Make sure of correctness of a lining and reliability of fixing of electroconducting, in case of need make replacement of contact sockets.
    1. After engine start check up штуцерные sockets on presence of signs of development of leaks.

Litre models 2.0

As pump dismantle is interfaced to necessity of removal of the top chain and asterisks of drive ГРМ, at installation special tools Opel, or their independently made analogues that it is true without which application installation of phases газораспределения is not represented possible (see the Head the Engine) be required. At installation the new bolt of fastening of an asterisk of a camshaft and fastening bolts успокоителя be required to the top chain.


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the inlet pipeline (Removal and installation of the inlet pipeline see).
  1. Carefully wipe surfaces around штуцерных connections, then turn out bolts, remove sealing washers, disconnect and take aside lines of giving and fuel return.
  1. Remove the top chain and asterisks of drive ГРМ.
  1. Through apertures in an asterisk of the bottom chain turn out forward bolts (1) fastenings Fuel pump.
  1. Turn out fixing bolts and remove an arm of fastening of the pump.
  1. Take the pump from a landing nest in gathering with a sealing ring, - at assemblage the ring is subject to replacement without fail.

At all do not undertake attempt of dismantling Fuel pump, in case of need address for the help to experts of car-care centre.

  1. Before installation make sure of correctness of combination risks on a flange of the pump with a fixing aperture in the case. Check up correctness of position of cranked and distributive shaft.
  2. Establish the pump into place, - track correctness of combination of an asterisk with a pump flange. Screw forward bolts of fastening of the pump and tighten them with demanded effort.
  3. Establish a basic arm on a back part of the pump and tighten bolts of its fastening with demanded effort.
  4. Establish the top chain and asterisks of drive ГРМ (the Engine see the Head).
  5. Establish new sealing washers on both parties штуцерных connections of lines of giving and fuel return, screw штуцерные bolts and tighten them with demanded effort.
  6. Establish the inlet pipeline (Removal and installation of the inlet pipeline see).
  7. Attach a negative wire to the battery and make engine start.
