2 — Bolts of fastening of a routeing trench of electroconducting

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery, поддомкратьте redock of the car and establish it on props. At a corresponding complete set remove protection картера.

Petrol models

Engines SOHC

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Give two fixing nuts and disconnect electric sockets from the traction relay of a starter. Remove the washers enclosed under nuts.
  2. Give a fixing nut and disconnect a wire of grounding from the top bolt of a starter.
  3. Give a nut of a fixing bolt and, having lowered a starter downwards, take it from the car.

Engines DOHC

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Turn out fixing bolts and remove a basic arm of the inlet pipeline.
  1. Give two fixing nuts and disconnect conducting from the traction relay, - remove the washers enclosed under nuts.
  1. Give a fixing nut and disconnect a wire of grounding from the top bolt of fastening of a starter.
  1. Give a nut of a fixing bolt and, having lowered a starter downwards, take it from the car, - pay attention to a difference in lengths of fixing bolts (the top bolt (1) more long bottom (2)).

Diesel models

The engine of 1.7 l SOHC

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove inlet air lines with gauge MAF (see the Head of the Power supply system and release).
  2. Remove a belt of a drive of the generator (Routine maintenance see the Head).
  3. On models with a right-hand steering remove the generator (Removal and generator installation see).
  4. Remove a final collector (see the Head of the Power supply system and release).
  1. Disconnect electroconducting from the traction relay of a starter.
  1. Turn out the top bolt of fastening of a starter from outside transmissions.
  1. Remove the bottom bolt of fastening of a starter from outside the engine. Take a starter at the top from an impellent compartment.

The engine of 1.7 l DOHC

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect the drain oil tube connecting the case of the oil filter with the block of the engine from the back party of last, - prepare for gathering of spilt oil.
  1. Remove the gauge of atmospheric pressure (BARO) (see the Head of the Power supply system and release). Turn out fixing bolts and remove an arm of the gauge from basic arm ECM.
  1. Give a fixing nut and the screw and disconnect electroconducting from the traction relay of a starter. Remove the washers enclosed under nuts (address to an illustration).
  1. Give a fixing nut and disconnect a wire of grounding from the bottom bolt of fastening of a starter.
  2. Turn out fixing bolts, lower a starter downwards and take it from under the car, - and take out a starter through a bottom from under the car, - pay attention to a difference in lengths of fixing bolts (the bottom bolt more long).

Engines of 2.0 litres

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. At a corresponding complete set remove protection картера.
  2. Turn out two fixing bolts and remove a starter thermofilter.
  3. Turn out bolts of fastening of conducting to a back part of the block of cylinders (the Scheme of installation of a starter see an illustration).
  4. Turn out fixing bolts and remove from the block of cylinders a basic arm of a final collector (the Scheme of installation of a starter see an illustration).
  5. Give two fixing nuts of fastening and disconnect electroconducting from the traction relay of a starter. Remove the washers enclosed under nuts.
  6. Turn out three fixing bolts and remove a thermofilter turbocompressor.
  7. Turn out bolts of fastening of a starter, the top bolt is established on the right side, bottom - from outside transmissions (the Scheme of installation of a starter see an illustration). Lift a starter upwards and take it from an impellent compartment.

Installation

All models

Installation is made upside-down.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Track correctness of packing of electroconducting and observance of requirements of Specifications on efforts of a tightening of fixture.
