Replacement of the fuel filter — petrol models

Remember that gasoline is extremely an inflammable liquid! At work with power supply system components observe all taken measures of fire safety. Do not smoke! Do not come nearer to a place of work with open fire or the redurable not protected by a lamp shade! Do not make system service in the premises equipped working on natural gas and heating devices equipped with a control torch (such as водогреи and dryers for clothes). Do not forget that gasoline is among cancerogenic substances, i.e., — the substances promoting development of a cancer! Try not to suppose fuel hit on open sites of a body, — use rubber protective gloves, at casual unforeseen contact to fuel carefully wash hands warm water with soap. Removal

The fuel filter is in a back part of the car, below, before a fuel tank.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Dump pressure in the power supply system (see the Head of the Power supply system and release).
  2. Prop up forward wheels противооткатными boots. Поддомкратьте a back of the car also establish it on props.
  1. Release a collar of fastening of the filter on the car bottom. Before filter removal, mark with an arrow an original direction of movement of a stream of fuel.

Installation

Installation is made upside-down.

Sockets of fast joining are transferred on assemblage of the new filter from the old.

Pay attention to following moments:

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Establish adjusting sockets of fast fixing applied on the new filter.
  2. Track, that the filter has been established by an arrow in a direction of movement of fuel.
  3. Try not to mix at connection hoses (see marks).
  4. In summary start the engine and make sure of absence of signs of development of leaks of fuel, in case of need muffle the engine and make corresponding corrections.
