Removal and installation of the fuel pump - petrol models

At installation the new sealing ring of a cover of the fuel pump is required.

Dump pressure in the power supply system (Sbrasyvanie of pressure in the power supply system of petrol engines see). Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
For the purpose of providing of access to лючку in the floor panel, lift a pillow of a back seat and unbend a carpet covering.

Having hooked a screw-driver, a plastic cover лючка, - access to a cover of the fuel pump should open.

Disconnect from a cover of a gasoline pump electroconducting, - fix a plait, having glued its adhesive tape to the floor panel.

Accurately mark both hoses brought to a cover. Release fixing collars and disconnect hoses from unions on a cover of pump assemblage, - for the purpose of prevention of passage of fuel at once закупорьте hoses bolts of the suitable size.

If sockets of fast joining are applied to fastening of hoses, operate according to instructions (Check of a condition and replacement of fuel lines and them штуцерных connections see).

Turn out and remove a carving lock ring, - the ring has a right-hand carving and is equipped by special ledges against which at отдавании it is possible to rest выколотку.

If have not done it earlier, disconnect from a cover hoses and electroconductings (see above item 5), then accurately uncover in gathering with a sealing ring, the sealing ring is subject to replacement without fail.

Having compressed clamps (1), accurately take pump assemblage from a fuel tank, - try not to admit displacement established in the basis of assemblage of the mesh filter. Traces of the floor of fuel spilt on the panel at once collect pure dry rags.

Check up a condition of the mesh filter (1), in case of need make its replacement.

In case of need the pump can be removed from an assemblage frame, - try to remember an order of connection of corresponding electroconducting.

In case of need establish the pump on the regular place in an assemblage frame, - track correctness of connection of electroconducting. Make sure durabilities of fixing of the mesh filter of the pump basis, then accurately fill assemblage in a tank. Plant on a cover of pump assemblage a new sealing ring.
Establish a lock ring and strongly it tighten, having begun to knock выколоткой.
Restore initial connection of gasoline pipe lines and electroconducting, - track reliability of fixing of hoses fixing collars. On models Zafira establish into place a fuel tank. Connect a negative wire to the battery, start the engine and check up штуцерные connections on a pump cover on presence of signs of development of leaks. If everything is all right, establish a cover лючка with a lining and close the valve of a carpet covering, and lower in regular position a pillow of a back seat.
