System of additional safety (SRS) - the general information

The general information

All models considered in the present Management are equipped by system of additional safety (SRS). The system structure includes safety pillows (one or two lobbies [the driver's enters into a standard complete set of all models], two lateral and two ceiling pillows [an option], and also emergency натяжители seat belts). The system provides additional protection of the driver and the forward passenger of the car at strong face-to-face and lateral blows, and also at car overturning (depending on a complete set). A system brain is including contours of self-diagnostics and a feedback the block of management SRS, the nervous terminations — gauges of the directed overloads and the control gauge in the block. The block is located under the panel of devices, is direct ahead of the central console. Gauges of the directed overloads and modules of pillows of safety are built in in the central part of a steering wheel and the right part of the panel of devices of the car (it is direct over a ware box).

Functioning principle

Necessary condition of activation of pillows of safety and emergency натяжителей belts is operation of gauges of the directed overloads and the control gauge. Operation of gauges leads to short circuit of a chain of modules and instant filling of pillows with gas, and also to activation пиропатронов emergency натяжителей. In case of failure of the battery operation of elements of system occurs at the expense of the energy developed in knot built in in block SRS of a feedback.

System of self-diagnostics of refusals SRS

The system of self-diagnostics SRS makes inclusion of a control lamp on an instrument guard of the car at ignition key turn in position ON. If the system does not find out any deviations, the lamp should go out after approximately 6 seconds. If switching-off of a control lamp does not occur, or the lamp works during car movement, hence, in system SRS malfunction is found out. Corresponding diagnostic codes register in memory of the onboard processor and their reading can be made by means of the special input reader сканерного the type connected to socket DLC of the car (see the Head of the Power supply system and release). For check of system and elimination of the reasons of the revealed refusals the car should be driven away on a car repair shop. Service of the knots located near to components SRS

In case of need steering wheel removal, or carrying out of service of a radio receiver or other devices of components located near to the panel try not to suppose рассоединения electric sockets of chain SRS. At all do not connect to chain SRS any diagnostic equipment! AT SERVICE of ALL LOCATED NEAR TO PILLOWS of SAFETY of COMPONENTS ALWAYS PRELIMINARY DISCONNECT SRS (see more low).

Safety measures

Safety measures of the general character

Listed below a safety measure should be undertaken before the beginning of performance of any works on service of the cars equipped with system SRS.

1. Do not disconnect the storage battery at the working engine;
2. Before the beginning of performance of works near to an arrangement of elements SRS, removal of any components of system, carrying out on the car of welding works without fail деактивируйте systems (see above);
3. Do not try to carry out diagnostics of system by means of testers, multimeters or other measuring devices;
4. At operation of control lamp SRS, or the suspicion on malfunction of system takes place, immediately drive away the car on a car repair shop for carrying out of detailed diagnostics SRS with application of the special equipment. Do not try to carry out independently at all diagnostics or dismantling of any components of system!

The safety measures necessary at the reference with pillows of safety

1. At carrying over of the module of a pillow of safety hold its face sheet from itself. A pillow of safety a pillow upwards;
2. Do not cover the module removed from the car hands;
3. Try not to drop and not to shake the module, - at falling from height more than 50 sm the module is subject to replacement;
4. Do not try to assort the module;
5. Do not suppose contacts of any electronic devices to any electric components of modules SRS;
6. Do not suppose hit on the module of a pillow of safety of solvents or cleaners, - in case of need wipe a surface of the module slightly humidified rags.

Safety measures at storage of a pillow of safety

1. Store the module of a pillow of safety in the closed rack a face sheet upwards;
2. The temperature of storage of the module should not exceed 90°С;
3. Do not come nearer to the module of a pillow of safety with open fire;
4. Recycling of pillows of safety should be made according to requirements of the local legislation;
5. At all do not establish on the car a safety pillow, without being are absolutely assured of serviceability of its condition.
