Removal and installation of elements SRS
Forward driver's pillow of safety
The forward driver's pillow of safety is built in in ступичную a part of a steering wheel and is under the button of activation of a sound signal.
|
|
- Make switching-off SRS (the Gauge of speed of movement of the car (VSS) - the general information see).
- Establish forward wheels in rectilinear position. Having taken out a key from the ignition lock, block a column.
- Turn out two fixing screws in a back part of a steering wheel and accurately remove the module of a pillow of safety in gathering with an overlay of the button of a horn.

- Disconnect from the module of a pillow of safety electroconducting. Clean the removed module in a safe place and lay its face sheet upwards.

At a module resock hold its obverse overlay from itself! |
|
- Installation is made upside-down. Do not forget to restore initial connection of electroconducting, track, that fixing screws have been tightened with demanded effort.

|
Forward passenger pillow of safety
The passenger pillow is fixed on a cross-section beam under the panel of devices of the car.
|
|
- Make switching-off SRS (the Gauge of speed of movement of the car (VSS) - the general information see).
- Remove a ware box (the Body see the Head).
|
- By means of a key of type TORX turn out fixing bolts and remove the module of a pillow of safety from a basic arm on a cross-section beam.
|
|
- Disconnect electroconducting and remove the module from the car, - pay attention that the bottom party of the block is processed for installation on arm apertures.
|
|
- Installation is made upside-down. Track, that fixing bolts have been tightened with demanded effort.
|
|
Lateral pillows of safety
Lateral pillows of safety are built in in lateral aspects of backs of forward seats.
|
|
- Make switching-off SRS (the Gauge of speed of movement of the car (VSS) - the general information see).
- Release clamps and remove from a seat back a lateral decorative overlay.
- Disconnect from the module electroconducting.
- Give three fixing nuts and remove a pillow from a seat back

|
Manufacturers recommend to replace самоконтрящиеся nuts of fastening of modules of pillows of safety without fail. |
- Installation is made upside-down. Correctly connect conducting and tighten nuts to the ordered moments.

Contact drum of a pillow of safety on a steering column
|
|
- Remove the driver's module of a pillow of safety (see above).
- Remove a steering wheel (the Suspension bracket and a steering see the Head). Make sure that forward wheels of the car are established in rectilinear position, the ignition key will take out from the lock and the steering column is blocked.
- Turn out fixing screws and remove the top and bottom sections of a casing of a steering column (the Suspension bracket and a steering see the Head). Remove from the switch of ignition an overlay with identification marks of positions of a key.
- Small screw-driver release a clamp and a latch and disunite a socket of electroconducting from the back party of contact group.

- Release four back clamps and remove the contact block from the top part of a steering column.

|
Track, that both half of contact block remained in the central position and settled down arrows downwards, - in case of need fix their adhesive tape. |
|
- Before installation of a new contact drum, or old with the broken centering, wring out the top clamp and accurately rotate the top part of the block counter-clockwise before occurrence of sensation of resistance. Now turn the block on 2.5 turns clockwise and achieve combination of arrows on the central section and external edge. At installation of the new block before remove shipping fixture.
- Establish a contact drum on a steering column, having tracked correctness of hit of directing pins in apertures in a steering column. Press the block to защелкивания clamps.

Observe extreme care, - in case of damage of clamps the block is subject to replacement in gathering! |
- Restore initial connection of electroconducting and fix a contact socket a clamp.
- Will put on the lock of ignition an overlay with identification marks of positions of a key. Establish sections of a casing of a steering column and reliably tighten screws of their fastening (the Suspension bracket and a steering see the Head).
- Establish a steering wheel (the Suspension bracket and a steering see the Head).
- Establish a safety pillow (see above).

The electronic block of management
|

- Make system switching-off (the Gauge of speed of movement of the car (VSS) - the general information see).
|
- Remove the central console (the Body see the Head). On models Zafira remove also knot of the lever of a gear change (the Manual transmission see the Head), — the management block is under the lever.

|
- Disconnect from the block electroconducting, give fixing nuts and remove the block from the car, — pay attention that the arrow from above the block should specify forward on the car (in view of асимметричности arrangements of fixture the block has unequivocal adjusting position).
|
|
- Installation is made upside-down. Track, that the fixture has been tightened with demanded effort.
|
|
|
|
At installation of the new block of management it should be programmed in the conditions of a firm workshop of car-care centre Opel. |
Door gauges of blow
Gauges are established in forward doors.
|
|
- Make system switching-off (the Gauge of speed of movement of the car (VSS) - the general information see).
- Remove the internal panel of an upholstery of a door (the Body see the Head).
- For the purpose of providing of access to the gauge unbend a plastic isolating membrane.
- Turn out fixing screws and remove the gauge from a basic arm. Disconnect electroconducting.
- Installation is made upside-down. Track reliability of a tightening of fixture.

The gauge of definition of employment of a forward passenger seat
The gauge is built in in a seat covering. It is necessary to charge performance of procedure of its replacement to experts of car-care centre.
