Check of a condition and replacement of brake lines and hoses

Approximately time in half a year, having lifted the car, check all flexible hoses connecting steel tubes of hydraulic contours with brake mechanisms of wheels on presence of cracks, signs of damage of a protective cover, traces of leaks of a liquid, swellings and other damages. Hoses are critical and most vulnerable making brake system, therefore their survey should be made with all carefulness - take advantage of a pocket small lamp and a small mirror. At revealing of any doubtful signs the suspected hose is subject to replacement.

Replaceable steel and flexible brake lines always can be got on a firm car repair shop the car companies-manufacturers, and also in firm shops of automobile accessories.

At all do not use as replaceable any tubes, except firm, specially intended for installation in a brake contour of your car.

At installation of brake lines watch, that they settled down on removal not less than 20 mm from moving or vibrating components of a body, a suspension bracket or a steering drive.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. For отпускания штуцерных connections of flexible hoses with steel tubes of hydraulic lines use special накидные keys with a cutting head.
  1. After отпускания nuts remove a clamp and liberate a brake hose from a basic arm.
  1. For a detachment of a brake hose from a support turn out a hollow bolt штуцерного connections and will throw out its old sealing washers, - at washer assemblage are subject to replacement without fail.
  1. Рассоединение two hoses it is made by means of usual рожковых keys. At joining of knots watch, that hoses were not overwound.
  2. Rigid tubes of hydraulic lines are usually fixed on all length special clamps. At line removal watch, that it has been liberated from all clips. Do not forget at installation of lines on the car to replace the failed clamps.
  3. At replacement of brake lines watch, that replaceable components in accuracy corresponded on the типоразмерным to characteristics to the old sections removed from the car. At all do not replace steel tubes copper!
  4. At installation of steel tubes watch reliability of their fixing in all provided arms, collars and clips. Do not suppose making of tubes excessively close from moving components of a suspension bracket and a steering drive.
  5. Having finished installation of new sections of hydraulic lines, check up liquid level in tank GTTS. In case of need make corresponding updating. Pump over brake system (Prorolling of brake system see). Before to start car operation make sure of serviceability of functioning of brakes.
