Removal and steering wheel installation

Models of cars considered in the present Management are equipped by system of additional safety (SRS). Before to start performance of any works near to the block of a pillow of safety, a steering column or the instrument panel, disconnect SRS in order to avoid reception of traumas at its casual operation (the Onboard electric equipment see the Head). Electroconducting of chain SRS is easy for distinguishing on yellow colour of isolation. In order to avoid system SRS damage, Track, that the steering shaft was not turned after steering wheel removal. Block a column the ignition key at rectilinear position of forward wheels.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Disconnect a negative wire from the battery and wait not less than 1 minute, having allowed to be discharged completely to the condenser of independent power supply SRS. Result forward wheels in rectilinear position and fix a steering column by extraction of a key from the ignition lock.
Remove the button of activation of a sound signal / the module of a pillow of safety (the Onboard electric equipment see the Head). Transfer the module of a pillow of safety to a safe place and lay its cover upwards.
At a corresponding complete set disconnect electroconducting from switches of remote control by a radio receiver. By means of a key of type TORX turn out a bolt of fastening of a steering wheel to a column. 1 — the Fixing bolt (TORX) 2 — the Contact socket of electroconducting of remote control by a radio receiver 3 — the Contact socket of electroconducting of the button of a horn
Mark position of a steering wheel (4) on a shaft of a column (5).
Undertaken a wheel hands from two parties and shaking here and there, remove it with шлицов a shaft. Having removed a wheel, liberate from its central aperture burn down the electroconducting going to the contact block and (at a corresponding complete set) to buttons of remote control with a radio receiver. Try not to admit displacement of the contact block after steering wheel removal, - in case of need fix its adhesive tape.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Make sure of correctness of combination of arrows of the contact block, - in case of need press on the holder, develop the block against the stop counter-clockwise, then return it in the central position (follow the instruction enclosed to the block).
Bring a steering wheel to a column and stretch through its central aperture burn down electroconductings.
Establish the switch of the index of turns in average position (Off) and plant a steering wheel on шлицы a shaft, - track correctness of combination of the labels put in the course of dismantle, and also behind that there was no displacement of the contact block.
Screw and strongly tighten a fixing bolt.
At a corresponding complete set connect electroconducting to buttons of remote control by a radio receiver.
Connect electroconducting and establish into place the module of a pillow of safety/button of a horn and attach conducting. Screw two fixing screws and tighten them with demanded effort.
Connect a negative wire to the battery.
