- Result forward wheels of the car in rectilinear position. Take the ignition key and block a steering wheel.
- Remove the bottom sections of furnish of the panel of devices and a sleeve of giving of air in a driver's foot well.

- Mark position of the top and bottom fixing knots of an intermediate shaft concerning a steering column and an entrance shaft of the steering mechanism (the Knot of a joint of an intermediate shaft with entrance shaft of the steering mechanism see an illustration).

- Compress a telescopic intermediate shaft and remove it with шлицов the steering mechanism and a column. Remove an intermediate shaft from the car.

Check
|
|
- Check up a shaft on presence of signs of mechanical damages of knots of a joint. In case of revealing of defects the shaft is subject to replacement in gathering.
|
|
Installation
|
|
- Make sure that the steering wheel and forward wheels of the car are in rectilinear position. Check up reliability of blocking of a steering column.
- Plant an intermediate shaft on шлицы an entrance shaft of the steering mechanism, - track correctness of combination of labels (at wrong installation of a shaft to insert a bolt it will not be possible). Slightly grease a carving part of a bolt fixing анаэробным with hermetic, fill a bolt in a collar and tighten with demanded effort.
- Fill the top end of a shaft in шлицы columns (again track correctness of combination of the components of adjusting labels put in the course of dismantle). Insert a bolt of a collar and reliably it tighten.
- Establish a sleeve of giving of air in a driver's foot well and the bottom sections of furnish of the panel of devices.
